Phil talks to Mel Zimmerman, a semi-retired professor of French literature currently working on the Kerry campaign in the battle-ground State of Florida. He joined the campaign via an organisation called "Americans Coming Together" and tells of going door-to-door in the working and middle-class areas of Dade County. Mel's knowledge of the French language is invaluable in getting out the Haitian vote in these tri-lingual neighborhoods where literature is normally printed in Creole, Spanish and English. Phil brings up the example of the 2000 election when thousands of African-Americans were effectively dis-enfranchised and discusses with Mel the plans to stop it happening again this time.
Phil also interviews Wayne Madsen, an investigative journalist based in Washington D.C. and previously employed in U.S. military intelligence. Wayne is an experienced and respected political analyst and is the author of "Genocide and Covert Operations in Africa 1993-1999". They discuss the impact of the recent hurricanes on the Presidential election, the destroyed polling-stations, the evacuation process, and the role of the National Guard (sent to Iraq). Phil talks about the issue of Haiti, the overthrow of Pres. Jean-Bertrand Aristide and the lack of attention and press that it is getting. Wayne has a personal family story to tell. They also discuss the Bush administration and its incompetence regarding the shooting of the Iraqi Army recruits and the missing munitions.

Phil talks to Ray Rogers, a leader of the Campaign to Stop Killer Coke (www.killercoke.com). The campaign is building an international protest movement against the gruesome cycle of murders, kidnappings and torture of union leaders and organizers at Coca Cola's bottling plants in Columbia.
In 2001 the United Steelworkers of America and the International Rights Fund filed a lawsuit on behalf of SINALTRAINAL, the union that includes the Columbian coke workers, several of its members, and the estate of Isidro Gil, one of its murdered officers. Coca Cola bottlers "contracted with or otherwise directed paramilitary security forces" who have carried out the murderous attacks, some right inside the bottling plants.
Rogers talks to Phil about successful campaigns on college and university campuses, growing support from North American unions, and pressure being placed on banks and corporations with ties to Coca Cola.
