Canada and 'NGOs' Overthrew Haiti's Government: 10-Year Anniversary. Coup in Ukraine

Featured Guest(s):
Yves Engler, Rick Rozoff,

Outstanding, muckraking journalist Yves Engler marks the 10th anniversary of the coup organized in Canada to overthrow the first democratically-elected President of Haiti, Jean Bertrand Aristide. Engler also discusses the role of "Non-Governmental Organizations" in carrying out the directives of their home governments in Haiti.

Rick Rozoff returns to the program to follow-up on his previous interview about the possibility of a coup in Ukraine. Rozoff's most dire predictions have come to fruition. The events in Ukraine "have been long in the making" and "methodically planned out." The only thing that isn't materializing is EU aid to Ukraine. "If you've pledged yourself unconditionally, why would they buy you?"

Black History Month with Norman Otis Richmond.

Featured Guest(s):
Norman Otis Richmond, Joel Richardson,

This Black History Month, Phil begins with the racist and war-like politics of the Superbowl. Phil goes on to describe the American Crusade Against Lynching organized in the USA supported by WEB Dubois, Paul Roberson, and Albert Einstein. Writer Norman Otis Richmond is interviewed about his recent article, "Negro History Week to African Liberation Month." His view is that Black History Month has been hijacked by the black petit-bourgeoisie, banks and hamburger chains to sanitize it rather than promote black liberation fighters.

Phil talks to Joel Richardson, artist and film-maker about his new work, "The Brock Johnson Story", whose trailer includes, "Brock's life is turned upside down and inside out when his neighbourhood cocaine dealer (the same dealer as the Mayor) gives him a tip on a story that could change his life... and end the life of his dealer." Does this sound like a spoof of a certain major Canadian city?
