Dr. Theogene Rudasingwa, Stephen Gowans
Former Rwandan intelligence chief Col. Patrick Karegeya was apparently strangled to death in a hotel room in Johannesburg on New Years' Eve. Colonel Karegeya, a refugee in South Africa, had condemned the authoritarian regime of Paul Kagame. Other prominent critics of Kagame have been killed in recent years. Phil speaks with Dr. Theogene Rudasingwa, who was a close colleague of Karegeya.

Stephen Gowans dissects several myths about the Soviet Union, and he's not afraid to take on other issues as well: why is it now acceptable to celebrate Nelson Mandela, but not Robert Mugabe?
